Both the above projects were completed successfully and on time. 2C Projects were at all times conscientious and professional on all counts. In the case of the King Edward VIII Hospital Refurbishment, 2C Projects cc worked under extreme pressure to get the project completed in a very short timeframe (FIFA 2010 priority project). 2C Projects may best be described as a medium sized contracting company that exhibits great initiative and drive to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standards of quality. The contractor employs the services of sub-contractors that also complement the professional manner in which 2C Projects conduct their day to day operations. 2C Projects cc may in my opinion be recommended and considered for any future construction appointments in the KwaZulu Natal region.

John Royal Architects has worked with 2C Projects on a number of building projects over the years. These include The Upgrade of 7 Stations for Intersite, Schools for the Department of Education and the Upgrade of the Anatomy Department at KZN Medical School for the UKZN. Project costs for the Station Upgrade exceeded R30M (as at 1995 ). This project in particular was exceedingly complicated involving precision steel and concrete work. In addition, the co-ordination of building work in respect of train traffic was highly critical. 2C excelled in all respects. Their handling and management of their own sub-contractors and their relationship with specialist nominated sub-contractors was excellent and this contributed to the ultimate success of the projects. The direct involvement of the 2C directors, Clive and Mano, gave new meaning to "team work" and their efforts were greatly appreciated.
The Upgrade of the Anatomy Department demanded great co-ordination with the ongoing functions of the Medical School. Complicated alterations and technically difficult additions were demanded and 2C proved to be fully capable and responsible to complete the task, on time and to a high standard of finish. Both Mano and Clive are highly experienced and professional individuals. Their combination of building skill and cost control are well valued and their constant "hands on" involvement have, in my opinion, led to 2C Projects success in the highly competitive construction world.
I have no hesitation in recommending their appointment for any construction work that they have successfully tendered on. In this respect, we look forward to the opportunity of working with this highly skilled and professionally motivated building company, in the near future.
